OUR PURPOSE
Patented Green Chemistry and Reactor System
Our desulfurization process involves a patented chemical and reactor system operating near-ambient temperatures. Unlike traditional desulfurization methods that require high energy, high temperatures, and complex infrastructure, our system is low-cost, efficient, and non-invasive. It is designed to integrate smoothly into existing refinery setups without requiring major modifications, providing a scalable solution to which refineries can quickly adapt.

At Curve Energy, we believe in the power of collaboration. Since early 2022, we have engaged in techno-economic assessments and joint research agreements with leading global partners. These collaborations have helped us further refine and validate our technology, ensuring it meets the highest performance and environmental compliance standards.
Revolutionizing Fuel Quality with Nano-Chemistry
The core of our technology lies in its ability to remove recalcitrant thiophene sulphur compounds from heavy fuel oil, which are notoriously difficult to eliminate using conventional methods. We can transform high-sulphur heavy fuel oil (HFO) into 90%- 95% ultra-low sulphur fuel oil (ULSFO). This innovation allows us to deliver a superior fuel product that is cleaner and more stable than currently available alternatives.
A Sustainable, Zero-Waste Solution
Our process doesn’t just stop at creating cleaner fuel. We also produce a valuable by-product, a sequestered sulphur thiophene bitumen binder. This by-product can be sold to bitumen plants for use in high-quality road pavements, creating a circular economy benefit and achieving a zero-waste solution. This dual advantage of cleaner fuel and valuable by-product exemplifies our commitment to sustainable innovation.
